It’s Bears vs Cowboys to kick off your Week 14 NFL action. The Thursday Night Football matchup features a couple of teams headed in opposite directions. The Cowboys head to Soldier Field with an 8-4 record and in the thick of a playoff race while the Bears’ season is all but over and all that’s left is to play out the string. Last season the Cowboys came to Soldier Field on a frigid Monday Night and the Bears dismantled the Cowboys. Can it happen again? Let’s see what our panel of expert staff writers think with their predictions for the game:

I’m on a hot streak of making picks. I haven’t missed since the Dolphins game. I’ve gotten the final score within 3 points in the last two predictions combined, so the pressure is on. The pressure is not on the Chicago Bears. With their playoff hopes down the tubes, maybe Marc Trestman loosens up the reigns he’s put on Cutler and the offense. The problem? The Cowboys offense. DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo should be able to go wild against a Bears defense searching for answers.
Bears 31 – Cowboys 37
Mike Flannery (4-8)
The Bears make a point to run the ball 20-25 times, but the Cowboys do the same and have more success against a struggling Bears D. The Bears keep it close, but the defense lets them down in the end.
