Bears Rush Offense (26th, 88.7 YPG) vs Saints Rush Defense (29th, 133.5 YPG)

I’m tired of trying to figure out what’s wrong with the Bears rushing attack.  Is it a lack of commitment?  Is it the scheme?  Is it the offensive line?  Is it Matt Forte?  Is there a way to blame Cutler?  At this point of the season, it doesn’t really matter.  The Bears should have plenty of opportunities to run against the Saints’ porous rush defense which is giving up over 133 yards per game.  In the Saints’ defense, none of their defensive linemen are standouts against the run with defensive end Cameron Jordan ranked 10th against the run among DE’s.

For whatever it’s worth, I’d like to see more of Ka’Deem Carey against the Saints.  Forte will be entering the last season of his contract and Father Time is gaining on Forte.  You need to figure out if Forte’s successor is on the roster or if you’ve wasted another draft pick.

Advantage: Bears
