Memphis

G Al Bond, SR #54 (6’4, 300, 5.27)

Scouting report – Plays right tackle for Memphis, but will most likely switch to guard at the next level. Bond has NFL strength and athleticism, but will be a project due to inexperience at guard and raw pass pro technique. Could eventually become a solid run blocker inside.

Projected: 6th-7th round

DE Martin Ifedi, SR #97 (6’3, 265, 4.87)

Scouting report – Very productive 4-3 DE who broke the Memphis record for career sacks with 22.5. Ifedi came into the 2014 season expecting a big year after 10.5 sacks in 2013, but missed four games with injury and only had 2.5 sacks on the season. His down year statistically could knock him out of the draft, but Ifedi is a prototype 4-3 defensive end with good power and polished pass rush moves. He’s doesn’t have a quick first step and isn’t going to beat NFL tackles with a speed rush, but he could be a solid left end who provides good run support and the occasional sack at the next level. Projects as a quality back up at the next level.

Projected: 7th – UFA
