OLB Norkeithus Otis, SR #8 (6’1, 240, 4.73)

Scouting report – Athletic pass rusher with an explosive first step, shifty pass rush moves, and the closing burst to chase down QBs. Otis struggles in coverage, so is probably limited to a 3-4 scheme as a pass rush specialist. Teams are always looking for players who can get to the QB, which is Otis’ strength, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets drafted sometime on day 3.

Projection: 6th-7th

DT Ethan Farmer, SR #96 (6’3, 295, 5.04)

Scouting report – Good athlete with an above average burst off the line and lateral quickness. Farmer has trouble shedding blocks though and needs to improve his hand play so he can ditch blockers and generate penetration. If a team thinks they can improve Farmer’s technique they could use a day 3 pick on him as a developmental DT.

Projection: 6th-7th round

FS Tim Scott, SR #7 (5’11, 190, 4.53)

Scouting report – 4-year starter for the Tar Heels with 3 years at corner before switching to free safety for his senior season. Scott doesn’t have great size or stand out athletically, but is solid in coverage and the versatility to play either corner or safety will boost his draft stock quite a bit. Whether it’s enough to get drafted or not remains to be seen, but Scott has a decent shot at hearing his name called on day 3.
