Florida

DE/OLB Dante Fowler Jr, SR #6 (6’2 | 261 | 4.78)

Scouting report – Dangerous pass rusher whose stats don’t reflect that impact he has on the Florida defense. Fowler only has 5.5 sacks on the season, but is a consistent presence in opposing backfields and would probably be among the FBS leaders in QB hurries if those numbers were readily available. Florida moved Fowler all over the field and that versatility will boost his draft stock. As good of a pass rusher as Fowler is, he is almost as bad vs the run. His aggressive pursuit of the QB often leaves him blind to draws and play-action and makes him basically a one dimensional player. Luckily for Fowler that one dimension is the most important one to NFL GMs. His elite athleticism, non-stop motor, and pass rush ability should get Fowler draft no later than round 2.

Projection: 1st-2nd round

OT D.J. Humphries, JR #70 (6-5 | 290 | 4.97)

Scouting report – Has the athleticism to be a solid NFL tackle, but needs top gain weight/strength and be more consistent with his technique. Humphries flashes elite ability with the quick feet, long arms and mobility to be a lock down NFL tackle. At other times he looks lazy and not strong enough to handle NFL D-lineman. He has also had numerous minor injuries which will be a red flag for NFL teams. His best move would be to stay in school, but if Humphries declares for the draft his upside will get him drafted earlier than his college performance deserves.

Projection: 3rd-4th round

OT Chaz Green, SR #75 (6’5 | 305 | 5.17)

Scouting report – Has less physical ability than his linemate Humphries, but is less injury prone and a much more consistent player. Green is an aggressive run blocker who moves very well and has crushed defenders on the 2nd level this season. He’s decent in pass pro, but his strength is as a run blocker and he may move inside to guard at the next level. His lack of NFL athleticism will hurt his draft stock, but his strong fundamentals and above average mobility will earn him a spot on an NFL roster.

Projection: 5th-6th round
