Chicago Bears star cornerback Tim Jennings was arrested in Georgia for speeding and driving under the influence.
Jennings was released from custody on Wednesday at 3:41 pm.
This comes just a year after Jennings received a four year extension worth $22.1 million with $11.8 guaranteed. Unfortunately, Jennings had a disappointing 2014 season, he recorded 50 tackles, one forced fumble and zero interceptions.

The Bears have released a statement in regards to the matter.
“We are aware of the reports regarding Tim Jennings’ arrest,”
The team stated.
“We are currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the situation.”
We will wait to see what disciplinary actions will take place.
