John Fox continues to build the Chicago Bears coaching staff, adding a few more coaches over the last couple of days.  Let’s get a quick snapshot of the additions.

Quarterback Coach – Dowell Loggains

has seven years NFL coaching experience including four as a quarterbacks coach and two seasons as offensive coordinator.  The Newport, Ark. native was a four-year letterman as a quarterback and holder at the University of Arkansas, where he appeared in 50 games.

Loggains got his break in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, working as a scouting assistant, before joining the Tennessee Titans staff in 2006.  Loggains worked a couple of seasons as an administrative coaching assist (which sounds a lot like getting coffee) for a couple of seasons before being named a quality control coach in 2008.

In 2010, Loggains was named quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator working with Kerry Collins, Vince Young, Matt Hasselbeck and Locker, a first-round pick in 2011.  If he could work with Vince Young, maybe he can even work with Jay Cutler?

In the last few games of 2012 and all of 2013, Loggains was the offensive coordinator for the Titans.  Last season, Loggains was the quarterbacks coach for the Cleveland Browns, working with Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel.
