Is there ever any real criticism that can be given to Matt Forte? The guy is an all-around running back that does everything anyone could think to ask out of their number one rusher.

Forte is the heart and soul of the Bears.

Although, his talents are often underrated and unappreciated when the league’s top rushers are mentioned; Bears fans understand what he brings to the team. Last season he was the most consistent player from start to finish with 1,038 yards rushing, 808 receiving and ten combined touchdowns.

As a dual threat, he makes the offense run smoother and everything easier for Jay Cutler. Imagine what he can do this year as the offensive line continues to get better. And based on what we have seen from coordinator Adam Gase there should be a lot of opportunities for Forte to get his hands on the ball.

Yes, Forte has hit the age of 29, which is when most running backs start to decline. But he has shown no signs of this as of yet, he looks like he still has gas in the tank. Even with the talented pass catchers on the roster, don’t expect Forte to be limited in any way in 2015 because everything has to go through him.

When Forte has the ball good things happen.
