Although he is a rookie, the learning curve has to be swift for Kevin White. He will be expected to move into the number two receiving spot behind Alshon Jeffery. This is a win now league and taking a year or more to adjust to NFL plays just isn’t what people expect anymore.

White will need to be ready week one and become a reliable playmaker that his quarterback trust. The Bears will face dominant defenses this season with corner backs that are known for locking wide receivers down, virtually taking them out of the game. Having White on the field producing at a high level helps to open things up for the offense.

White’s physical style of play and ability to high point the ball is a great compliment to what Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett and Eddie Royal bring to the field. He is exactly what the Bears need this year to get past the tough teams in the NFC North.

As the number seven pick in the draft expectations are high.
