The 2015 season has to be “The Year Of Alshon Jeffery.”

He is no longer the right-hand man or the number two option. With Brandon Marshall off flying with Jets, Jeffery has to prove he can be a reliable number one receiver, which means no more dropped passes. He can’t have any more games like the one in week 16 against the Lions, when he had four critical drops.

There will be no one else to pick up the slack, if he has an off day. Jeffery has to be the kind of guy that the team can look to with confidence knowing he will make plays. If he can make the adjustments, he will for sure be on the list of the league’s best wide receivers.

Jeffery’s receiving talent is indisputable; he can be a straight up beast at times causing all sorts of trouble for corners trying to cover him. He has the remarkable ability to elevate and catch the ball at its highest point. But, inconsistencies last season in crucial situations have caused some to wonder if he can carry the load of being the top guy.

Expect to see Jeffery step up to the challenge and dazzle us with his superb catching ability.
