3. Odell Beckham, New York Giants: Despite missing the first four games of the season, Odell Beckham burst onto the scene in a huge way in 2014. Finishing with 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns, Beckham raced to the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, leading many teams to fantasy championships along the way.
Beckham has such a well-rounded skill-set, and his production speaks for itself. With a year in the bag, and a full season expected to be ahead of him, there simply is not a limit on what Beckham can do. I have him ranked as the third fantasy wide receiver this season, but a case certainly could be made for him being the top overall player.
2. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys: Dez Bryant has made a career out of abusing opposing defensive backs, and it has meant nothing but good things for his fantasy owners. He is the perfect size for the position, he is stronger than any defensive back and he can also out-jump them all. Defending Bryant has to be one of the hardest things to do in the NFL, making his upside truly limitless each and every week.
His fantasy value all depends on his opportunity in the game, and considering Bryant is one of the best players in the NFL, I see no reason why the Cowboys would not keep giving him ample opportunity.
1. Antonio Brown, PIT: The scoring leader at the wide receiver position last season was Antonio Brown. He led the position in both PPR scoring and non-PPR. Of all the impeccable talent on this list, none of them were able to produce like Brown last season, and honestly, I do not see why that would change going forward.
The Steelers love to throw the ball, and Ben Roethlisberger is an elite player at the quarterback position. Brown does not have ideal size of a guy like Bryant, Thomas, Johnson or Jones, but he uses his unrivaled speed and quickness to get open nearly every time he runs a route. Brown is great in the red zone, and is a threat going deep, short or anywhere in between. He truly is the total package.
There may not be more of a sure thing than Antonio Brown in fantasy football right now, and he has already proved his incredible upside. It is hard to go wrong with this pick.
