20. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers: When selecting a quarterback late, upside is something that I am always in search of. With a rocket arm and unmatched athletic ability, Kaepernick has massive perceived upside. That being said, in a predominately rushing offense with average receiving options, Kaepernick does not have the upside that is perceived on the surface. His rushing ability usually allows for a safe floor, but Kaepernick is not a guy I am typically targeting.

FP ADP: 133rd Overall Pick, 20th QB off of the board.

19. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears: Many of us are far too familiar with the enigma that is Jay Cutler. He has all of the natural talent in the world, which intrigues fantasy owners to the extreme, but his production is always inconsistent. Cutler is a talented player who is surrounded by some very nice options. He is worth a flyer for me mostly because he is obtainable for a nice price, but we cannot count on him to produce week-after-week. Make sure you have a back-up plan ready.

FP ADP: 152nd Overall Pick, 22nd QB off of the board.

18. Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens: Flacco is another talented, but inconsistent quarterback. There are weeks where Flacco is terrible, but there are certainly times where he can basically single-handily win your fantasy match-up. It would be unwise to count on him every week, but Flacco is a great QB to use in favorable situations.

FP ADP: 122nd Overall Pick, 16th QB off of the board.

17. Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals: If it weren’t for injuries, Palmer would be much higher on this list. He is a proven quarterback, who has had recent fantasy success and is in a very favorable offense. Expecting him to play 16 games would be foolish, but Palmer comes at a discounted price, and has big upside. He is a quarterback who I will be targeting late in the draft. Very nice potential value here.

FP ADP: 156th Overall Pick, 23rd QB off of the board.
