As the new offensive line coach Dave Magazu has continue to rebuild the line and the hope is that right tackle Jordan Mills will become a major contributor. Mills played college football at Louisiana Tech, in his senior year he started all 12 games and received first team all-conference honors.
He was selected by the Bears in the 2013 NFL draft in the 5th round, the 163rd pick overall. After being drafted in 2013, Mills had a good preseason that helped him to win the starting right tackle job. Throughout the season, he continued to play well giving hope that his progress carry into the 2014. Although he started most of the season, he was hindered by a lingering foot injury that required surgery.
