.) Marquess Wilson, Bears – Was on the roster bubble until rookie WR Kevin White got hurt. Wilson has a chance now for consistent snaps now and has the size (6’4) and speed (4.51) to be an impact fantasy player if he can improve his route-running.

.) Brandon Coleman, Saints – Is supposedly a semi-lock for the Saints 3rd WR job. I’ve been a fan of Coleman since his days at Rutgers and his big frame (6’6 | 225) is a nice complement to standout 2nd year WR Brandin Cooks. Coleman isn’t the quickest WR, but his size will make him a weapon in the red zone. Drew Brees’ talent could put Coleman in position to succeed and he is worth a flyer late in your drafts.

.) Jaelen Strong, Texans – Was drafted in the 3rd round to replace veteran Andre Johnson, but got off to rough start showing up to OTAs out of shape and then pulling a hamstring on the first day of practice. Strong is a little behind schedule, but has looked pretty good in training camp. The Texans have some QB issues, but the #2 WR spot is within reach for Strong which could result in solid fantasy backup value with some upside.

.) Kenny Britt, Rams – Had a career high 48 catches last season and came close to his best yardage year as well. Britt was limited by poor play at QB, but is in a better spot this season with Nick Foles under center. With a new OC, Frank Cignetti, it’s unknown what the Rams scheme will be this year but I’m pretty sure it will be run heavy with Todd Gurley and Tre Mason. Britt should be starting across from Brian Quick and could have a solid season and earn a fantasy spot as a WR3/Flex.

.) Cecil Shorts III, Texans – The Texans depth chart at WR is up for grabs after #1 DeAndre Hopkins but Shorts in definitely in the mix for the #2 or slot role. He has flashed legit talent throughout his career, but has been waylaid by injuries and has never played a full 16-game season. The Texans have serious question marks at QB, so I can’t give Shorts a full recommendation, but he will wind up on a few of my fantasy benches this season.
