Fuller is supposed to take the next step in his development this season, but it’s been pretty shaky so far. After a strong start replacing Charles Tillman last season, Fuller was slowed by injuries and never seemed to bounce back. He didn’t instill any confidence he’s ready to anchor the Bears secondary in 2015. He got torched by TY Hilton for a big play, but made a bad play worse when he committed a stupid taunting penalty.
If Fuller wants to ascend in 2015, he’s got to keep his cool. I can handle him getting beat – and let’s give Hilton his due as a top flight WR – but he can’t commit stupid penalties.
