Can Marc Trestman coordinate his way out of wet paper bag?  Ravens fans had better hope so. Baltimore and the Steelers are popular choices to win the AFC North.  The Bengals made quick exits from the playoffs the last few years, so people are thinking they’re going to take a step back in 2o15.  In the AFC South, the Colts are the prohibitive favorites.  There’s just too much of a gap in talent between the Colts and anyone else in that division to make it interesting.

In the AFC East, the Patriots will be out to put Deflategate behind them and shut up their critics.  Look for Tom Brady to play with a big chip on his shoulder.  The Dolphins will make it interesting with Ryan Tannehill and Lamar Miller expected to help them at least capture a Wild Card.  Can Rex Ryan help get the Bills back to the playoffs.  The defense should be fine under Rex, but that offense?  Yikes!  Don’t plan on getting much from the Jets until they solve their quarterback dilemma.

The AFC West seems to be the Broncos’ for the taking once again, but with Peyton Manning getting a year older and a new staff in place, it could be the end of the road for #18.  Look for the Chiefs to be improved, and I boldly predict that a wide receiver will actually catch a TD pass this season.  The Chargers could be heading to LA, so maybe a playoff run for their last season in San Diego might make that move more interesting.

The AFC has a lot more variety than the NFC for conference championship.  I like the Colts and Andrew Luck to ascend and get past the Patriots in the AFC and beating the Packers for the Super Bowl 50 crown.  Here are the rest of our Super Bowl picks:

I guess Elijah decided to abstain from making a pick.
