Fantasy Football Week 4: Start’em / Sit’em

Sit’em
Quarterback
Eli Manning, @BUF (53%, 16) – Statistically the Bills D has been kind to QBs, but the stats are skewed by Tom Brady’s big game against them in week 2. I would be fine with Manning as a starter most weeks, but on the road against an aggressive Bills D is risky. The Giants line has been shaky and Manning could be on the run most of the game.
Ryan Tannehill, NYJ (38%, 17) – Has been inconsistent so far this season and faces a tough match-up against Darrell Revis and the Jets on Sunday. The Phins have enough weapons where he could still put up a decent fantasy line, but if you have another option at QB this would be a good week to use it. I’m benching Tannehill for Taylor in one league and Carr in another.
Drew Brees, DAL (31%, 20) – Is questionable to play and I try to avoid players who are one bad hit away from being sent to the locker room, especially at QB where you are expecting 20-ish fantasy points. Brees hasn’t looked that great when healthy earlier this season and the Cowboys have been surprisingly stingy against the pass.
Matt Stafford, @SEA (25%, 16) – Not only would I not start Stafford this week, but I released him in a short bench league yesterday. Stafford is banged up, hasn’t looked sharp, and is making a few really bad decisions per game. The Lions have a lot of weapons, but Stafford hasn’t been able to utilize them and I don’t think it will get any better at Seattle this week.
