Running Back

Doug Martin, @ATL (71%, 10) – I can’t believe I am actually recommending Martin, but he has had three huge games in a row and his projection this week is pretty conservative considering that Martin is averaging 20+ fantasy points per game over the last three and is facing one of the most generous run defenses in the league.

Matt Forte, MIN (66%, 16) – His low start percentage is probably related to his bye last week and not a tough match up vs the Vikings, but either way Forte should be in your lineup every week. He is the heart of the Bears offense and should see enough touches to put up 15-20 fantasy points.

Jonathan Stewart, IND (59%, 12) – Has 20+ touches in each of the last two games and has responded with an average of over 100 rushing yards and a TD. Stewart has a favorable match up this week and could put up huge numbers if he gets 20+ touches again.

Danny Woodhead, @BAL (55%, 9) – I’m not sure why Woodhead doesn’t get more respect from the Yahoo projection algorithm, especially after putting up almost 30 fantasy points last week and the struggles of rookie Melvin Gordon. Woodhead is the Chargers lead back and a must start every week in PPR formats.

Charcandrick West, DET (42%, 11) – I warned you last week not to give up on West after one bad game. He looked like a poor man’s Jamaal Charles last week and is facing a Lions team that has given up more rushing TDs than any team in the league.

Duke Johnson, AZ (24%, 7) – He’s on this list every week (PPR only) and continues to get 6+ targets every game. Duke is facing a tough run D this week, which could lead to even more targets out of the backfield.
