Billy Hurst-USA TODAY Sports
Every week on Tuesday, I will be posting my top Fantasy Football waiver wire pick ups for the week. Only players owned in under 60% of Yahoo leagues will qualify. There are all sorts of leagues out there with different levels of competition and varying player pool depths, so I will have a few picks with under 60% ownership, a few under 30%, 15%, and usually at least one deep sleeper under 5%.
The players are listed by position first, then by the order that I would add them. If there are any players you have a specific question about feel free to hit me up in the comments or on Twitter.
Week 11 Waiver Wire Picks:
More from Bears Fantasy Football
- Justin Fields is showing that he is a major fantasy football riser
- Chicago Bears Fantasy Football: Should you draft Justin Fields?
- Two must-draft fantasy football players on the Chicago Bears
- 3 over/unders for Cole Kmet with Chicago Bears in 2022
- 5 Khalil Herbert over/unders in for Chicago Bears 2022
Quarterback
Jay Cutler, CHI (40% owned) – I was skeptical of Cutler’s value over the his recent stretch of games: @STL, DEN, & @GB, but Cutty put up a 3 TD game vs the Rams, is facing the Broncos without Manning, and the Packers who look suspect right now. After that stretch Cutler only plays one good defense the rest of the way (@MIN). He’s averaged over 20 fantasy points this season and could have a monster second half if Jeffery can stay healthy.
Tyrod Taylor (46%) – As expected for a first year starter, Taylor is inconsistent but with the emergence and return to health of WR Sammy Watkins, Taylor could put up some solid fantasy numbers the rest of the season. At worst he is a quality backup worth using on favorable match-ups. His running stats could push him into the 20+ fantasy point realm even on off days.
Kirk Cousins, WAS (32%) – I passed on Cousins this week despite one of the easiest match-ups in the league and felt like an idiot when Cousins put up 300+ yards and 4 TDs.. I still don’t trust him, but the NFC East defenses are suspect and Cousins could be start-able the rest of the season.
