2. Given how Peyton Manning has played lately, are the Broncos better off with Brock Osweiler at the helm against the Bears on Sunday? Besides the whole “future Hall of Famer” thing, what’s different between Osweiler and Manning?

I do not believe I can really give a fair assessment on that because we have not really seen Osweiler in extended duty. This is going to be his first start and depending on the status of Manning’s injury, Osweiler might only see a full sixty minutes for one game.

So, I can’t give a straight forward answer in regards to if the Broncos are better off. As long as the guy at the helm gives the team the best chance to win, I am fully supporting the decision. In this case, due to injury, Kubiak believes Osweiler gives the Broncos the best chance to win on Sunday. And I could not agree more.

I think Osweiler’s ability to scramble out of the pocket and make those play action passes on the run is a huge difference. While Osweiler is not Cam Newton or Russell Wilson, he can make some moves with his legs that Manning can’t do. And that could be a big advantage somewhere down the road.
