Corey Coleman will not win the Heisman Trophy, however, that is not his fault.
The Baylor Bear’s wide receiver has pieced together one of the most historical collegiate seasons for a receiver. What it boils down to is that only two receiver have ever won the award in the history of college football, and receivers typically do not garner as many votes as other positions do.

Coleman is on pace to break the NCAA record for most receiving touchdowns in a single season, while also being top three in the nation in terms of receiving yards.
At the next level, Coleman projects as a game changing player that can be used in a multitude of ways. He resembles a mixture of Percy Harvin and Steve Smith Sr.
He plays with a chip on his shoulder, and will battle with any player that feels that he is an inferior talent. His elite athleticism allows for him to cut at any given moment, change direction with no change in decrease, and breakaway from a pack with ease.
Coleman could add to an arsenal that could give the best secondary’s in professional football a headache. Having Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White on the outside, while working Coleman out of the slot would allow for the Bears to create mismatches each and every game.
Coleman is easily one of the most exciting players in college football to watch. Make sure to keep an eye out for him as he, and the Baylor Bears take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
