Game: TCU (9-1) at Oklahoma (9-1) – Saturday, November 21st – 7 P.M. CT – ABC

Eric Striker is an extremely interesting prospect in my eyes. He plays a similar role for the Sooners as Von Miller plays for the Denver Broncos. Now, with that being said I am not saying in anyway that Striker will emulate the success that Von Miller has had in the NFL.

But, I will say this, Eric Striker will be a poor man’s Von Miller.

Consistently wreaking havoc in the backfield of opposing offenses, Striker is an athletic specimen that plays the game with as much passion as anybody. The Sooner’s linebacker has racked up 173 tackles and 22.5 sacks since becoming a full time starter three years ago for Oklahoma.

It is an extremely interesting concept to think about Striker being utilized by John Fox and Vic Fangio. Fox was one of the brains behind drafting Miller, while Fangio has consistently turned average linebackers into pro bowlers.

But, I will say this, Eric Striker will be a poor mans Von Miller.

Striker could be a value selection in the second round for the Chicago Bears, much like the front office did this past year with Eddie Goldman.

Imagine the production this staff could get out of Striker opposite of Pernell McPhee. It makes you wonder.

Make sure to checkout Striker, and the Oklahoma Sooners as they take on the Horned Frogs of TCU this Saturday.
