Marquess Wilson Needs To Shine

Marquess Wilson must – I repeat – must have an outing on Thursday that makes analysts around the league talk.

All the attention will be focused on Alshon Jeffery and his health, but if Wilson can step up and give the Bears a threat as a secondary option then they will be able to stay in control of this game.

Wilson will be drawing coverage from the Packers number two cornerback, Casey Hayward. The matchup very well could be the more interesting one of the two to watch.

In the past outing against the highly regarded Denver Broncos defensive backfield, Wilson had four catches for 102 yards. A solid performance, but where the Bears struggled was in the red zone. Wilson was not able to gain the separation to allow for the ball to find him, nor was he able to win any jump ball passes.

On Thursday night that will have to change. Wilson will have to shine.

Wilson will have to be a top performer on Thursday in order for the Chicago Bears to win this matchup against their rival, the Green Bay Packers.
