8. Richard Dent

When Richard Dent is the eighth best defensive player in team history, you know you have an incredible group of defenders. Dent was a dominant pass rusher in his time recording double digit sacks in eight different seasons.

His greatest year came in 1985 when he led the NFL with 17 sacks and seven (yes, seven) forced fumbles. He also managed to intercept two passes and return one for a touchdown. The Chicago Bears capped off their historic season in 1985 with a 46-10 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX, and Dent was named MVP of the game.

He finished his career with 137.5 sacks, 4 Pro Bowl appearances, and 4 first-team All-Pro honors.
