Plenty of Bears players will be playing for their future this coming Sunday. Currently, the Bears have 25 players that will hit the free agent market this offseason. Some key players from that group include Matt Forte, Tracy Porter, Shea McClellin, Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller.

Some players are must re-signs, others on the other hand are stirring up debate. Alshon Jeffery has been the topic of conversation as he will be able to only play in nine games this season and has been limited in at least three of those nine.

Jeffery is a game changing talent; the Bears cannot let him walk for nothing and at the least should place the tag on #17. With plenty of salary cap space it would be an extremely bad sign if General Manager Ryan Pace cannot come to some sort of agreement with Jeffery.

Some players will be battling for an opportunity next year as the Bears will possess nine total draft picks and roster spots will come few and far between. Look for some extra effort out of the special teams unit, and those on the roster bubble.

My names to keep an eye out for – Deonte Thompson, Jarvis Jenkins and Mitch Unrein.
