This isn’t the type of move the Patriots tend to make but could you imagine how Bill Belichick and Tom Brady would utilize Matt Forte? He would become a ferocious weapon for them in the short passing game and Tom Brady would absolutely love having a guy like Forte and Edelman to utilize while saving Rob Gronkowski for the big plays.

The Patriots should have Dion Lewis returning in 2016, so with Belichick banking on a younger, cheaper version of Forte, the odds of a marriage here are slim, but again, Forte would thrive in this offense which would have to give Belichick at least a minute or two to ponder the option.
