6th round – T Caleb Benenoch, UCLA (6’5 | 305 | 5.32)

Started since his freshmen year and was an above-average run blocker from day one. His pass blocking was inconsistent as a freshmen and never improved as much as expected over the next three seasons.

Benenoch flashes the agility, quick feet, and technique to be an effective pass blocker but gets beat more often than he should. He may be better off with a move inside to guard at the NFL level since he’s shown the ability to move defenders off the line consistently to create running lanes.

His versatility to play either guard or tackle boosts his value to NFL teams who usually only suit up seven o-linemen on game day, but Benenoch has the potential to be a starter at guard and possibly a tackle if he can get more consistent in pass protection. The combination of Benenoch and Seumalo could be an upgrade over the Omameh / Ducasse disaster at guard immediately and both players have the potential to develop into starting caliber o-linemen.
