Ah mock draft season. This is the time of year where by now you’ve seen so many mocks you’re head is spinning, yet you just can’t resist clicking on just one more persons peer into the NFL draft crystal ball.

With most mocks it tries to predict the exact thought process of the team, the board falling perfectly for every team, and in some cases predicting who’s gonna trade what for who when? Of course this is an activity in futility, and an impossible task, so the way I do mocks is to simply try to marry value with need. So I do try to incorporate team need along with best available player. So you will see some chalk choices everyone is picking, because it makes the most sense. Not because I’m jumping on a bandwagon.

Than there will be some that aren’t so chalk and may seem absurd to you the reader. This is not me trying to invent the wheel, or be some hipster go against the grain be the smartest dude in the room thing. It’s just the way I see the value of the pick along with what the team needs most. Be sure to click on the players name to get a comprehensive scouting report along with video via Fansided’s own draft guru Jon Dove from the site withthefirstpick.com. With that said here we go.
