17th overall- Darron Lee– ILB/S- Ohio State- Atlanta Falcons

Dan Quinn finds his do it all joker to play around with. Darron Lee is one of these new age hybrid safety/ linebackers that can match up with some of these nickle down Move tight ends and slot receivers. He’s a little light in the pants, but looks like he can operate at 235 without losing his athleticism which should be plenty enough to become a disruptive force for opposing defensive coordinators. A proper NFL nutrition/weight program should remedy that. In order to succeed he has to be used correctly. He’s not the kind of guy that will stack and shed and take on tackles and guards at the point of attack. Quinn is experienced with hybrid types like Bruce Irvin when he ran a hybrid 40 front with Seattle and their cover-3 version of hybrid defenses.
