NFL Mock Draft 2016 First Round 1.0

14th overall- Cody Whitehair– OG- Kansas State- Oakland Raiders
Cody Whitehair is an extremely versatile player. Played Right Tackle, Left Guard, and Left Tackle in his final two seasons at Kansas State. Whitehair played very well as a left tackle even though playing way beyond out of position. Although he starred at left tackle he will likely be a guard at the next level. Very good against the run and equally as good in pass pro. Scheme transcendent, and plays with strength and athleticism which looks like he can easily play in man or zone. Intelligent with excellent football character making him a good leader on this team. It’s a surprising move seeing as the last three offensive tackles out of the top five are still on the board when the Raiders are up, but Whitehair is a generational lineman who can play at any spot on the line in a pinch and dominate at either guard spot. The other three tackles may be good players, but Whitehair’s floor, and versatility is too hard to pass up here.
