Osborne was a staple on the Bears defense for 13 years. A solid defensive tackle, he started 154 games and played in 186 over his career. Never a Pro Bowler, he was a reliable player that made an occasional big play but suited up almost every Sunday. He retired in 1984 and made way for rookie sensation William Perry in 1985.
