Anthony Fabiano-Harvard-OG

PLAYER OVERVIEW:

Anthony Fabiano is obviously intelligent and thoughtful, but on the field he’s an ass kicker. Can play guard or center, and is one of the more athletic offensive linemen in the entire draft.

MEASUREABLES AND PRODUCTION:

As mentioned he’s extremely athletic and versatile. Pretty good long speed clocking in at 5.04 in the 40 at 303 pounds, but it’s his short area quickness that opened eyes as his 10 and 20 yard split will attest to. Here’s his school page for his impressive accomplishments.

SCOUTING REPORT:

Positives: Fabiano has the football IQ to make calls for the offensive blocking scheme, and the athleticism to execute. Played both guard and center so he offers positional versatility which is huge since teams usually only dress 7 linemen. He’s also pretty strong and holds his own in the weight room and has an acute understanding of leverage and blocking angles to beat his man.

Negatives: Small school competition means he’s going to have a learning curve, and will require some development, so he may not be able to be an immediate contributor. Still needs more power training even though he is still fairly strong.
