One of my favorite picks in the whole draft. This may end up being a better value pick than the Whitehair one. Braverman is a dynamic slot receiver with the ability to take the top off down field. Almost impossible to tackle flush. Usually taken down by being knocked off balance from a shove or an arm tackle. Breaks more ankles in the open field than a Steph Curry crossover.

He’s small and needs more beef which I am confident he will add once in the Bears strength and condition program. Even without the extra poundage he’s impossible to get a good punch on in press coverage. Able to use superb quick twitch to have defensive backs whiffing on air. I suspect once he makes a DB or two look stupid they’ll back off a little even in press and try to mirror him rather than giving him contact on the line.

Offers even more value as punt returner. So shifty and quick in the open field with long speed (4.47 40) he should break quite a few giving the Bears offense some nice short fields and taking the pressure off the defense to hold court if the offense goes three and out deep in their territory.

Braverman also had amazing production. He was second in the nation with 109 receptions which is ridiculous production for collegiate players that play like 11-12 games a season. Also had a career-high 1,367 yards and 13 touchdowns. If you want to say he racked up these stats feasting on small school competition think again. Just throw on the tape against Ohio State and Michigan State where he accumulated 23 combined receptions for 231 yards .
