This might be an odd name to see on this list but when Ryan Pace signed Ted Larsen, he had every expectation to start him at left guard. Pace wanted to move on from Slauson and had been trying to trade him for weeks. When a trade never materialized, Slauson was released after the draft.

The Bears traded down twice in the second round, and when OL Cody Whitehair was sitting there at the 56th overall pick, the Bears made the move and selected him. Whitehair is considered one of the most NFL-ready players in the entire draft and most considered him the top guard available. Expect Whitehair to start immediately at left guard opposite Kyle Long. Manny Ramirez could see time at center with Hroniss Grasu still developing, but Larsen is a true guard and unless there is an injury to Whitehair or Long, he is going to be stapled to the bench.
