Wide Receivers/Tight ends

With the majority of their big targets injured in 2015, Chicago’s passing game was limited, to say the least. Kevin White, their 2015 first-round pick, sat out the entire season. Alshon Jeffery, who led the team with 807 receiving yards, played in only nine games. Eddie Royal also played in nine games, but injuries to his hip, ankle, and knee allowed him to rack up only 238 receiving yards. And tight end Martellus Bennett struggled throughout the year with ailments of his own.

Now, White appears to be fully healed from a stress fracture in his shin, and we’re hoping that Jeffery and Royal will rebound in the same way. As for Bennett, his performance this season will be irrelevant, since he is now with the New England Patriots. The newly anointed starting tight end Zach Miller will have to build on his surprising 2015 campaign. Having all of these targets in the mix, along with a few others, the Bears’ passing game should finish higher than their 23rd ranking from last year.
