2. The Tight End Position is a Mess

Unfortunately, this can’t come as a shock to anyone. Zach Miller is a phenomenal TE2, unfortunately, he’s the Bears starting TE. If he stays healthy, the position should hold its own, but if he gets hurt, the Bears could be in serious trouble.

Ben Braunecker seems to be the second best tight end of the bunch. While that’s great as proof for Pace’s eye for talent, it also doesn’t bode well that an undrafted rookie has lept two veterans. Khari Lee is nothing more than an additional blocker and Rob Housler has never exactly had major success at the NFL level.

The Bears were so displeased with the position that they brought in journeyman Tony Moeaki to provide some depth.

Zach Miller is fragile. If he has injury problems this year, the Bears could have serious trouble at the TE position.
