Gibson was an absolute giant. Gibson stood 6’6 but his weight was something of a myth. Depending on who you asked, Gibson’s weight was somewhere between 375 and 420 lbs. That’s not a typo. Gibson was listed at 410 lbs by the Cowboys in 2002, marking that the highest playing weight by anyone in NFL history.

Gibson was a first round pick by the Lions in 1999, but made his way over to the Bears in 2003. Gibson started all 16 games for the Bears in 2003, but injuries limited his time on the field in 2004 and the Bears went another direction after that.

Gibson’s daily calorie count was north of 5,000 which meant plenty of chicken wings and not so many salads. While there was plenty of muscle on that giant frame, nobody wants to see someone who weighs over 400 lbs with their shirt off.
