The Bears paired Ted Washington with Keith Traylor in the middle of their defenses. Washington was 6’5 and a whopping 365 lbs. Think about it, him and Traylor combined for over 700 lbs in the middle of the defense. That left middle linebacker Brian Urlacher free of blockers and able to roam effectively with Traylor and Washington clogging up linemen.

Washington only spent two seasons in Chicago, but his first, 2001, earned him first team All-Pro honors. Washington is arguably the best football player of this bunch and also arguably had the biggest belly. Washington looked good in a Bears’ uniform for two seasons, but he certainly wouldn’t look good without it.
