4. Which draft pick are you most excited to see play this season?  Does that rookie make an immediate impact?

Seems like Will Fuller should be the pick, but honestly I’m intrigued by Braxton Miller of Ohio State. I want to see how the Texans use the former QB turned wide out. He has blazing speed and can help in several ways like the return game, in the slot, as a running back, etc. Also, the Texans used Cecil Shorts as a wildcat quarterback last season, imagine how much more dangerous a Heisman candidate quarterback would be in that role.

5. What’s your outlook for the Texans this season in terms of W/L record?  Can the Texans win the division?  How far could they go?

I think it all lies on the shoulders of Osweiler. That defense led the team to a 9-7 record with T.J. Yates and Brandon Weeden playing big games down the stretch. If their new guy is what they paid for, there’s no reason they can’t just win the AFC South, but they could make some noise in the playoffs. Not saying a Super Bowl is likely just yet, but a win or two isn’t a crazy idea (I mean come on…had Peyton Manning not returned Osweiler would be a Super Bowl winning QB and everyone would say he was underpaid).

Big thanks to Randy for answering our questions.  As the Bears vs Texans Week 1 matchup gets closer, be sure to check out Toro Times to see how the Bears opponent is getting ready for the Bears.
