Charles Tillman already has a new job.
Days after “Peanut” Tillman announced his retirement with a tremendous video, he made another announcement that he will be joining Fox Sports.
This is a perfect fit for Tillman. First, anyone that has seen or heard Tillman on television knows that he is a great fit to be an analyst moving forward. This was clearly always going to be the direction Tillman was going to go after his football career ended. He has said he has very little interest in coaching and television is a perfect way for him to show off his other set of skills.

Tillman is well-spoken and is very cerebral the way he analyzes a football game. He is also very relatable meaning he is going to really be able to explain what is happening on the field or in the locker room in a way that all fans can understand. Tillman also has a great personality and will fit in well with the zany antics that Fox does from time to time.
Tillman’s retirement became official this morning as he re-signed a one-day contract with the Chicago Bears so he could retire a Bear. The Fox announcement came shortly thereafter. As one career comes to an end for Peanut, another one has quickly begun. It shows just how high Fox is on Tillman that they are willing to put him in this position immediately after retirement with no local work in Chicago on Comcast first. This should be a job where Tillman will thrive and the rest of the country will soon learn what Chicago already knows- just how special a person Charles “Peanut” Tillman is.
