Running Backs

1. Jeremy Langford- Langford showed flashes of ability during his opportunities last year as a rookie when Matt Forte went down with an injury. Forte is gone now and Langford has been given the keys. The Bears are going to use more of a committee approach this season, but Langford will see the lion’s share of the work as long as he performs.

2. Jordan Howard- The front office is very excited to see what Howard can do and expect him to contribute as a rookie. The Bears envision of lightning-thunder combination with Langford and Howard. Howard is a bowling ball that runs downhill with a lot of steam and is a load to take down. If he performs well, he could surpass Langford for more first and second down action.

Player to Watch: Ka’Deem Carey- Carey is another holdover from the Emery regime. Carey doesn’t do anything great, but he does several things decently. He probably isn’t in the mix for heavy activity, but it will be interesting to see if the Bears keep his capable skills on the roster as an RB3.
