Predicting Every Chicago Bears Starter and Next Man Up

Left Guard
1. Cody Whitehair- As mentioned previously, this is where the Bears expected Whitehair to be playing in 2016. Whitehair was selected in the second round and the Bears projected him as a guard when they picked him. He worked at left guard with the first team during OTAs and that will most likely be where he is when training camp opens. Whitehair is versatile and can also play tackle and center so the Bears may use that to their advantage and move him where he is needed most.
2. Amini Silatolu- Silatolu is a skilled guard that has an opportunity to start in Chicago. Silatolu was once a full-time starter for the Panthers but his career has been riddled by injuries and he suffered his second career ACL injury last season. If Silatolu can prove that he is completely over his past injuries and his skills haven’t waned because of them, he will find his way into the starting line-up. However, it’s distinctly possible that his body won’t bound back from this second injury. He is certainly someone to watch in August.
