For the first time since 2009, the Bears will start the regular season on the road. This could be a huge test for the Bears’ offense. Houston’s defense in 2015 was third overall in the NFL, while ranking third against the pass and 10th in stopping the run. The performance of Chicago’s offensive line could be the difference-maker in this contest. The Texans recorded 45 sacks in 2015 (fifth-most in the league). The Bears’ new-look offensive front will have to find their chemistry quickly in order to stop Houston’s pass rush. Hopefully, for their sake, All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt will still be sidelined recovering from back surgery.
