The NFL Network has named their three most underrated teams for the 2016 season. The Chicago Bears top the list at number one.

Daniel Jeremiah is a well-respected analyst for NFL Network. While his expertise is the NFL Draft, he follows the league carefully and the network utilizes him to breakdown rosters throughout the season as well as his draft duties.

Jeremiah did a segment on NFL Network where he gave his three most underrated teams in the NFL for the upcoming 2016 season. His third most underrated team was the Indianapolis Colts, and his second team was the San Diego Chargers. When he unveiled his most underrated team in the league, “Bear Down” started playing throughout the city of Chicago.

Jeremiah is very high on the Chicago Bears. He expects the usual John Fox second-year surge that Fox’s teams traditionally see from year one to year two. He also loves what Kevin White is going to bring to the offense and loves the pieces that Ryan Pace has added to the team, most notably on defense.

It’s good to see some national analysts starting to see that there is an uptick in Chicago. Most fans and local analysts/writers see the positive strides that the Bears have been taking in the last year. Nationally, the love hasn’t been the same. Most analysts pick the Bears last in the division and don’t see them competing much this season. Any preseason power ranking I’ve seen has the Bears listed well into the 20s so for Jeremiah to say the Bears are underrated and feels they could reach ten wins this season is great for Bears’ fans to hear.

The Bears definitely appear to be on the road to redemption and Jeremiah looks like the first national analyst to jump on the band wagon.
