Bears head coach John Fox has a reputation for having a run-heavy offense, which usually features multiple ball carriers. Well, that wasn’t the case in Week 1. Fox and his staff called 34 pass plays and only 18 run plays versus Houston. Of the 18 run plays, Jeremy Langford had 17 of those carries. As a result, the Bears only held the ball for 23:41.

Chicago has a variety of running backs on their depth chart that can definitely keep an opposing defense on its heels. Langford, along with Ka’Deem Carey and rookie Jordan Howard, could keep the chains moving on the ground, and give the Bears a more balanced offensive attack. We’ll just have to see if Fox feels the same way on Monday night.
