Week 4 keys to victory: Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions

2. The Bears defense needs to force two turnovers
The Chicago Bears definitely need help on offense, and there are few better ways to boost an offense than giving them a short field. Through 3 games, the Bears have forced 2 total turnovers. Strangely enough, the Bears have scored touchdowns on offense after both turnovers. Coincidence? I think not!!!
I see Leonard Floyd playing a large role in creating potential turnovers this weekend. Lions’ tackle Riley Reiff is currently hobbled with and ankle injury and could be vulnerable to Floyd’s speed rush. The Bears have struggled to create pressure in general, and I see this as a potential breakout for the Bears’ first round pick.
With some added pressure, hopefully the Bears’ secondary will be afforded better opportunities to make plays on balls. It’s hard to look good as a cornerback or safety when the quarterback has a clean pocket. Not having to face a big bodied receiver will certainly help out as well. The Bears’ simply don’t have anyone who matches up well with types of receivers like Dez Bryant.
