John Fox and his coaching staff finally got things in order and orchestrated a well-balanced offensive attack. After abandoning the running game in the first three weeks of the season, Fox and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains stayed committed to the ground game and called 26 run plays, to go along with their 38 called pass plays. The staff should be commended for making a gutsy call to go for it on fourth-and-goal in second quarter, even though they didn’t convert it. Even better was the great decision to call a timeout prior to Detroit’s onside kick attempt, which possibly could’ve caught the Bears off guard.
