Zach MillerQuestionable– The Bears simply cannot build any type of future around the tight end position with Miller’s injury history. There is simply too much potential for Miller to have another injury that sets him back. If the Bears can find themselves a legitimate TE1, Miller could settle in as a nice pass-catching option as their TE2.
Logan PaulsenDoubtful– Paulsen has been a nice acquisition but he is likely nothing more than a spot holder until the Bears find someone they are more comfortable moving forward with at the poistion.
Ben BrauneckerUnknown– Braunecker has potential to become a legitimate NFL tight end but he didn’t have many opportunities in training camp due to injuries and started the year on the practice squad. He was recently elevated to the active roster but has only had four offensive snaps to this point. Once he has more of an opportunity with the offense we will see if he has some legitimate potential at the position.
