Rookie Jordan Howard has given the Bears’ running game new life in the last two weeks. Howard has back-to-back 100-yard rushing games, and a league-high average of 5.8 yards per carry. The Jags are currently 17th against the run, giving up 105.8 yards per game, and allowing rushers to gain an average of 4.0 yards per carry. If given the ball enough, Howard and the Bears’ ground attack should be able to win the time-of-possession battle.
