Chicago Bears fans experienced yet another low point last Thursday against the Packers. Staples of the 2016 Bears reared their ugly head yet again under the primetime lights: injuries, offensive ineptitude, defensive mediocrity, and most prominently, losing. With nothing but pride to play for, the Bears will to turn Jay Cutler to right the ship against the NFC North leading Vikings.

Last week’s keys:
1. Tracy Time- Despite holding relatively strong during the first half, Porter was shredded throughout the second half. The only spark the Bears had through the entire game was Leonard Floyd’s strip sack. The Bears needed a virtuoso performance out of Porter last Thursday and they simply didn’t get it.
2. Keep the offense on schedule- Despite a decent performance from Ka’Deem Carey, the offense was abysmal in Lambeau Field. It isn’t fair to pin all the blame on Matt Barkley, but he was dreadful overall during his playing time. The Bears only managed 13 first downs to Green Bay’s 32. The Bears converted 2 third downs to the Packers’ 9. Most poignant of all, the Bears ran 45 plays to the Packers’ 81. That’s offensive inefficiency at it’s finest. The Chicago Bears drop this key as well.
3. Routine plays need to be routine- Hoyer’s injury also makes this key harder to judge. However, it’s hard to award this key when the offense only manages 189 yards of total offense and the defense falls apart in the second half. Open receivers were missed, tackles were botched, and the game was lost just like this key.
